Our Story

How we got started

Wyoming Wound Care was founded by Michael and Kelley Reed in 2003. Previously, Michael worked for 3 years at Wyoming Medical Center doing wound care. Michael has 24 years of wound care experience and holds a wound care specialist certification that takes 3 years and 3,000 hours to obtain. Michael has good standing and works closely with the physicians of Wyoming. Patients come from all over the state for compassionate comprehensive wound care.

Ward Bowron was brought on as a partner in August of 2023. Ward holds a doctorate in Physical Therapy. While working, Ward is also working on his hours and the time it takes to become a wound care specialist. He came to Wyoming Wound Care with a desire to expand and continue with the wound care needs of Wyoming.

Katelyn Robinson, another integral member of our team, has been the office manager for over ten years. She is the person with the answers regarding scheduling, billing, product and so much more.

Rachel Bowron is a bilingual speech language pathologist, and also Ward’s other half, who is helping with some of the administrative and accounting duties.

As we all move forward together, Wyoming Wound Care will continue to be the most cost-effective and advanced wound care offered for long term recovery. We strive to look at the whole picture of why a person has wounds and plan healing for long term recovery. Our goal is to avoid expensive quick fixes that can cause long-term complications and restore the patient, rather than “fix” the patient.
